Seeds from sunflower

This amazing sunflower grow in our front garden. I have never seen one like it, will I get the same plant from seeds I collect from the seed head.

  • They might come true, but they might not. Have a go. Nothing to loose.
Gardener of a driveway pot garden - flowers one side, veg the other and a car in the middle. I am so looking forward to the day we can move into a house with a bigger garden.

We do an annual family sunflower grow and perhaps for the last decade instead of buying fresh seeds we find the results are just as good utilising seed from the previous years best multiple flowered sunflowers - just like yours. (Its a more desirable trait in my opinion)

The multi-head gene has always come true without fail, but the actual flower size can vary year on year (this year they're all small but tall, like yours).

By the way, that is an awesome sunflower!!!
