Online Retailers

Any suggestions for some general online retailers?
I mainly use Suttons and T&M but they seem to get a bad rep on here.

    Will often depend on what you wish to purchase - seeds, plants ( bare root, plugs, etablished ), bulbs, tools/equipment?

    For seeds Premier Seeds Direct I've have found are very good and cheap :)

    Any and either really. Whether someone has a good recommendation for all of the above or a specialist.

    I recently ordered from Norfolk Herbs, as a birthday present for an uncle, he was delighted with them. I have also used Taylor's for clematis, and Peter Nyssen for bulbs.

    I've used about a dozen different ones over the years and have found it just depends on what you're looking for, there isn't one that has everything for my particular preferences. I've not had any problems with Suttons so far though. I use J Parker's, You Garden, Gardening Express (for established plants mostly) and Hayloft most often. A few one off orders so far: Farmer Gracy, Roots, One Click Plants, Peter Nyssen.

    D T Brown and Chiltern for seeds.  J Parkers for bare root strawberries.  Ashridge Nurseries for established plants. Primrose for the likes of wooden compost bins/raised beds. That's about my extent of experience of online retailers over the last 3 or 4 years :)

    I’ve had some very healthy plants from Penlan Perennials and found Farmer Gracy good for bulbs and bare root plants.

    Dorset Perennials
    Beth Chatto
    Jacksons
    Woolmans
    Hardy's
    Sarah Raven 
    Mac plants
    Plantsmans Preference

    For bulbs:
    Farmer Gracy
    Peter Nyssen
    Sarah Raven
    Euro Bulbs
    Gee Tee

    For "outdoor living" I use companies such as:
    Wayfair
    Green Fingers
    Harrod
    Primrose

    Made a couple of purchases from Mail Order Trees, they've been fine.
    A small mistake of sending the wrong plant (was mislabelled) quickly rectified, mistakes do happen it's a fact of life, it's how a organisation/individual deals with it is what is important, and I guess how often it happens.  No complaints.
    If going for something a little larger, one could always ask for actual photos of the plants you'd buy - they did this for us without asking.

    I prefer to buy in person, have a good look at the health of a plant, pick out a nicer specimen etc.  But it's not always possible, not everyone can carry a big enough selection and I certainly don't want to travel huge distances.
