Unwanted weeds

I have had my garden covered with gravel,  and over the last 3/4 years have had weeds,  and have been told cooch grass growing through
I have tried all weed killers
Can anyone help

    Weedol pathclear should do the job - it's widely available

    Grass growing through
    Have tried all types of weed killer
    Garden is 18 m x 11 m
    Any help please

    That’s not Cooch  grass it’s Horsetail, very difficult to get rid of. 
    Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

    If that's Horses tail i'm impressed with your eyesight Lyn! 
    OP you need a better/closer pic of it or Google HT and take a look.
    You can get specific weedkillers for it, but like any you'll need to hit it every year until it gives up.

    Have to smile at the irony of your ant-garden questions on a gardening forum though  :p
