Crassula ovata Scales on leaves and leaves are dropping

Good afternoon,
I am a tad worried about my Jade plant, I have had it for 6 years but this was a cutting from the original plant (my grandmothers) who had the plant for over 30 years.
My Grandmother sadly passed away so I’m very sentimental about this plant.
Some leaves have a light brown crust on them and some have a white dots which can be removed when you wipe them. Some of the leaves when touched lightly fall off!
I would be most grateful if someone could kindly advise.

Have you got it in full sun? Looks a bit leggy, as though kept in poor light. Needs  thorough watering then allowed to dry out.
I can't really see anything wrong in the photos. Exceptionally easy from cuttings so you might want to have a spare just in case.
It possibly would benefit from repotting but I can't tell from the photo.

The white 'scales' are actually mineral deposits from the water that the plant expels onto the leaves.
