Bromley apple

Help Please . I have a Bromley apple tree that is now five years old and this year is the first year of any apples ha ray, But sadly I have some with pale green marks on the under side of the skin, any one with any thoughts on what this is . I have grown apples before in a different garden and this has never happened, this garden was in a poor way when I took it over not a thing in it . I compost feed and water often, I get good leaf and blossom and the tree looks heathy. I looked in many book and on line with no success I have attached some photos (hope it works) many thanks if some one can help

If the marks turn brown in a few days then it could be Bitter pit. This is caused by a lack of Calcium. Really bad in dry seasons. It is possible to redress the balance in the soil, but adding lime round the tree. But, more often then not in a normal season it does not happen.
  • We moved into our home in 1978. There was a "bramley" already in situ. It has never stopped giving us apples. We don't feed it or give it any additional water/feed. Thankfully it continues to give us fruit and we are very grateful and hope the tree keeps well.
