My Mum's Mystery Plants!

madpenguinmadpenguin Posts: 2,543
My Mum's neighbour gave her some flower seeds to grow saying they were a 'daisy' (possibly from a bouquet?).Mum grew the seeds which all germinated quickly and rapidly grew.
The neighbour showed Mum the seed pod they supposedly came from but that turned out to be Nigella (Love-in-a-Mist) which it clearly wasn't!
They have continued to grow but we cannot seem to identify them, everytime we think of something and check there is something not quite right.
I suspect they are either a biennial or perennial rather than an annual as they have not tried to flower. All leaves come from the centre.
So I am putting up some photos to see if anyone out there who could possibly identify them.
Over to you..........

It could be O biennis it can set alot of seed. I grow one called O Apricot Delight also seeds well in some soils. Started with just a couple of plants and it has never left pops up in drier areas of the garden. It looks lovely at dusk, flowers short lived but plenty of them.
