I was given a grape vine some years back and this year its produced fruit...
Is there a way to tell if the grapes are of the white or black variety, apart from waiting to see i mean : p

Wait and see!
'in most cases, red grape leaves have an almost classic “maple leaf” shape, while white wine grape leaves are more rounded'.
An internet search will give you lots more information. 🙂
ETA: interestingly, a grapevine can be identified by its leaves alone ...

I have 2 varieties and one of those definitely does have a maple leave look about it.
Ill wait and see : )
