    It's going for Verbena bonariensis and trailing lobelia here, and the jasmine earlier in summer when it was in flower.

    I would absolutely love to see one but never have.
  • Several here in West Somerset - they appeared earlier than usual this year but not as many.  Their favourite does always seem to be valerian.

    Iv'e seen them in the past on the Ise of Wight. A few weeks ago they arrived here on my V Bonariensis. Thought they were impossible to photogragh until I saw the above@LunarSea My brother is a prof landscape photograper I will tell him about your amazing photo. 
    I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

    Make sure you also tell him about the 99 blurred shots I binned before I got to that one  ;)

    Brilliant photos!! 
    The slugs finished off my little verbena plants, but yes they do seem to like phlox.
    They're very cuddly aren't they? Imagine if they were the size of cats! Don't roll your eyes, I can see you!

    They are regular visitors here and very welcome - love them. Very glad other people are benefiting from their presence.
