My nemesia could do with tidying up. Do I just cut off the seed heads ( most have just one flower at the top) or do I go further down into the stems? Will they flower again this year if I prune them?
I’ve deadheaded mine yesterday by cutting the flower stem at the point where it branches out lower down. It should flower again, especially if watered and fed.
@B3 I would normally dead head them as each one went over. I found two on the bargain table at the local Garden Centre for £1.00 four weeks ago. Potted on and dead headed they are looking good.
I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.
