  • Full sun and stony soil makes me think of curry plant, rosemary, lavender, thyme, lambs ear plant, buddleia, potentilla, red valerian, sage and Russian sage as having nice flowers and doing well in those conditions.

    Happy gardening!

Croakia cotoneaster has dainty yellow flowers in spring. It would be a great addition to a contempory garden. It can also be grown as a hedge.
I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

    Croakia cotoneaster
Think you mean Corokia cotoneaster...common name wire netting bush.

This is Corokia Clover...which is a nicer form.
Quote www...."Corokia ‘Clover’ is an interesting shrub with twisted twigs and small green leaves. Masses of tiny yellow start flowers produced from spring into summer. Plant in sun or part shade in well drained soil. These plants are well established in 2 litre pots."
