Help with lawn weed ID please?

Hello (again), we have yet another invasive weed in our lawn (along with the Yarrow!), picture attached.  Does anyone know what it is and how to treat it.  It has long white roots which are quite shallow and long hairs on its leaves, and grows quite flat to the lawn.

    Looks like buddleia?

@Acuwell Could it be a plant in the border that has seeded into the lawn?

Hi No there are no borders in the front garden, purely grass, and it is spreading.

Is there a chance of more photos, showing the stem and how the leaves attach?

Not buddleia. I've had that weed in my lawn before, low growing and creeping, but can't remember it's name. I'm not too bothered about weeds in my lawn though, cheaper, easier, greener.

Ha ha thanks Busy-Lizzie - I know what you mean but our next door neighbour's lawn is weed free (thanks to years of pulling weeds by hand) and ours is encroaching.....

I just wonderd if it could be a type of Knapweed but a long shot I think.

It looks like fox and cubs to me. I didn't know until I looked at the above link that mouse ear hawkweed was what people called the yellow form (fox and cubs has orange flowers), we'd always called them both fox and cubs.
I don't think you will be able to tell the difference unless you let it flower. I like it and it's welcome but it can spread very fast both by runners and seed.
