Can anyone identify this shrub please?

Hi Everyone, I need to identify this shrub in our front garden. Nobody we ask seems to know exactly and I'm trying to find out if I should prune or not so if I can find the exact name the rest should be easy (famous last words).

The berries will soon turn red and it is not an evergreen.

It is a Cornus, probably is Cornus Mas with red berries as well .

Google lens is correct.
Cornus mas common name Cornelian cherry.
i love it.
It has dainty yellow flower in spring before the leaves open.
Berries ripen red.
