Plant ID - I haven't a Scooby Doo!!

  • Thank you everybody, I think Silver Surfer might be right.  I have put one in the garden at some point as its on the list I keep of plants I've put in. That must be the one - I'm going to go with that.  I know where to replant it now I know what it is.  Thank you!

    Mystery plant has leaves that are opposite.

    While Elaeagnus shrubs have leaves that are alternate.
    The leaves have short stalks.
    Stems are sort of warty.
    Leaves are speckled and silver on the back.

    So it is definitely not Elaeagnus. Sorry
