Curling leaves on Laurel

I have 3 Laurels. Two doing fine, 1 suddenly curling up and dying. Checked water all working. Can’t see black spots or insects. Any ideas?  In Northern Utah.

How much water is it getting? If the weather is as hot and dry as I believe Utah to be, you would be better giving it about a gallon of water every two to three days. Dribble the water very slowly to make sure it's going down to the roots.

I agree with @Posy … a drip hose isn’t going to be nearly sufficient for shrubs.

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
