Caterpillar identification

Anyone know what this guy is? I thought it might be a cabbage white but googling looks nothing like this chunker.

    Not sure but I think, it might be a moth larva  known as a cutworm. There are several species of Moth whose larva specialise in eating stems and roots rather than leaves and shoots
     They can hollow out the stem of plants and cause them to collapse .  They tend to be bigger and paler than most caterpillars

  • May have stowed away on some veg from a friends garden 🐛
