Can anyone identify these
in Plants


This was in the wood,about 1.mtr tall,big flat mid green leaves
Very spikey flowers, mauve center,very pretty.

and although the main flowering spikes are higher up than most spaniels there are always burrs on the sideshoots too! And as winter arrives the plants become brittle droop and fall … that’s when the burrs attach themselves to dogs and children's winter coats etc 😂
