    I think the primulas are the hybrid bedding ones, not P. vulgaris. There's a bit of red flower visible on one of the plants. The others might be different colours.
    Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained

    Thats possible - I recall they were in a garden centre 'mixed cocktail' pot/tray but the label gave no exact info :)
