This afternoon we went to Peter Beales Classic roses and wandered around the garden and I bought some plants to fill in some gaps. That was fun
Tomorrow we are going to our friend's birthday party, dinner and dancing in a hotel near Tunbridge Wells, long dress and dinner jacket. It will have to be a long skirt, my evening dress is in France. We are staying the night in the hotel.

Good morning Ante. I think it is a good time to relax - you (and Chive) are getting nearer and nearer to going back to school again - I cannot believe where the holidays go. When we were young the summer holidays seemed to stretch ahead for ever; now it is almost 'blink and you miss it'. I have noticed it is much darker in the mornings when I get up now and I have to put lights on - similar in the evenings.
