Phacelia

Evening,

Just wondering if it’s too late to sow some Phacelia seeds so the insects have a late food source? 

I know it can germinate quite quickly but is it likely to flower before the season ends?

    A few years ago I planted some seed at the start of August and had a full scale tansy 'meadow' within six weeks. It's certainly worth it.

    Great, I’ve sowed a small area so hopefully this will provide some valuable grub for the insects in a few weeks.
