Putting up trellis for jasmine

Hello!

I am a very novice gardener and I'm struggling to work out how to put up trellis for my jasmine plant. Appreciate this is very basic stuff, but any help gratefully received.

Attached is a photo of the fence and the jasmine plant. How do I attach trellis to this fence?!

Do I make it so that it covers just the middle section (between the two horizontal posts) or so that it covers the whole fence?

And how do I secure the trellis?

Thank you!

    In terms of dimensions:

The width of the panel is 8ft
The height of the panel between the two horizontal posts is 4 inches
The height of the whole panel (from the ledge to the top) is 4ft 11inches

@Ischbrydges .  Personally I would take the easy way out and get a roll of plastic coated trellis (comes in green or brown) and hang it on nails on the top horizontal rail and possibly secured in the same way along the bottom rail. If you have a stapler gun, it's even easier to staple the plastic trellis to the wood.

Jasmine is usually a vigorous twiner and will find the thinner plastic easier to attach to than the thicker wooden trellis and should soon cover it.

However wooden trellis does look nicer, the difficulty being is that the two horizontal rails are angled to a point which makes fixing it a bit more difficult.
