I do not no this but does anyone know Holodiscus discolor not entirely sure leaf is right. Are you in the north or south@Jenny128 ?
I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

It's a Spirea, not 100% as to the species but it's one of the suckering types, e.g. Spirea x billardii or Spirea alba.

I agree with Loxley - Spiraea alba or meadowsweet.

Yes can see it now, Spirea alba a new one for me. I rather like it too.
