laurels

i had to move my laurels to have a new fence they were put back within couple houre they have gone droopy and some leaves are brown that was3 weeks ago i have watered them will they come back

    Depends how big they were,  small ones would be ok,  large ones not so.

    Yes depends on how big you may need to cut them back. Welcome.
    I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

    As they’re small you just need to cut them down to 2’. And water really well and often.  As soon as they root well,  they’ll put in too growth.

    @mikelearmond Every cut you make on a Laurel bush will reshoot in two places. This is the best way to get them to grow more densely. With plenty of water they will soon get going. People make the mistake of paying for large Laurel plants, small ones will catch up very quickly. Try to cut them back to a pair of leaves if you can.
