Rose campion problem

Can anyone explain why my rose campion leaves have got these white marks. They are seedlings. Many thanks

I don't know, but I'm sure it's not happy in a small pot half filled with compost.
It would be far better in the ground.
They're a bit like weeds around here, they pop up between paving slabs and in the tarmac on edge of pavements - they're really tough as old boots.
I'd suggest planting it out where it will get lots of sun and watering regularly while it settles in.
They very drought tolerant once established and self seed profusely.
White marks may be slugs/snails having a go, but the plant won't be affected.
