    I agree about the grasses.  I’ve got a nice Veronica, First Love, very stiff stalks, hold up well,  I’ve taken some more cuttings.  Slugs don’t touch it. 
    Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor. 

  • Veronica sounds perfect - not a plant I would have thought about. I have just looked on the BBC GW pages - unless I have missed it, there is nothing about growing from seed - only propagating or buying. Just wondering about sowing some in the greenhouse and when I could sow them. 🤷🏼‍♀️ It's certainly one I'd like to plant though.Thank you @Lyn 🙂
    I have about 20 small Geum plants in 4" pots @ontopofthehill so will put some of those in - it's good to know they are wind tolerant. Thank you. 🙂

    @ShepherdsBarn. It’s a sterile plant, cuttings only.  But easy to do.
    When I harvest the Honesty seeds I could see if there’s any cutting material and you can have a go.
