Dahlia turning yellow with curling leaves

We planted about 20 dahlias this year but this one has started to turn yellow 
Any advice on what might be wrong would be greatly appreciated

    Hungry? Thirsty? They like a lot of food and water.  :)
    The soil looks very dry, so it might be worth checking that, but it does look more like a lack of nutrition. How do the others look?
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
