Is this giant hogweed?

    I agree with Silver Surfer re the first. No sort of Hogweed or even umbellifer

    But lots of Common Hogweed in the second picture I’m sure you’ll agree  😊

    Filipendula is one of my favourite wildflowers - gorgeous, and just getting into it's stride round here. 
    Giant hogweed is really hard to miss @peterrudd96, so don't worry too much. It's truly humungous, as seen in @Silver surfer 's photo, while the common hogweed is around four feet or so, on average. There's a huge stand of it in the river, near the old mill in the centre of Paisley [not far from here]. It's quite a site later in summer when driving past. 
    It's a wee bit like seeing a buzzard and thinking it could be an eagle. There's no mistaking the latter for the former when you do see one   ;)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....



    I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
