Lily Beetles - where have they gone?

    Must have dispatched about 20 poo covered larva this morning and found one adult but he kept flying off so I couldn’t catch him.

    I admire you all for continuing to try to grow lilies. I have given up but I enjoy growing other things more so not so bad for me. I do still make a lot of mistakes planning for a new gardening season, I never seem to learn there are some plants that need too much water and maybe I need to rethink that too. 
    I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

    Not been too many here either this year, but way too many vine weevil who are also eating the Lilly leaves.
    Marne la vallée, basically just outside Paris 🇫🇷, but definitely Scottish at heart.
