Something is eating my lillies

Can someone please help:( I don't see any bugs but something us sure eating holes in my lillies, what can I do?

    Most likely to be lily beetles. Watch out for bright red coloured beetles on the stem from time to time.

    They have a habit of dropping down and hiding catch them in a marg tub.
    I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

    There is another thread at present where it is suggested there is a lack of Lily Beetles. Lets hope they have left your garden, I would stay vigilent all the same.

    If there's a lack of lily beetles it's because they are all in my garden

    I had to give up on lilies because of the beetles, but slugs did a lot of damage, too.

    This is what you need to look for..... Lily beetle.
    Look regularly to find them.

    If you try to catch them they easily drop to the ground upside down and are impossible to find.
