Pinching growing tips of Chrysanthemums

In May, I bought a collection of hardy Patio Chrysanthemums from Sutton’s, which were small but  nice and healthy, and have thrived in their new pots. After a few weeks, at about 20cms, I pinched the top growth on each one, (and used the tips for cuttings which have all rooted and are doing well.) My question is, how often should I continue to pinch out the new growth from the original plants, which  are not only developing nice little side shoots, but also more strong main shoots with growing tips like those I originally pinched out? Thank you.

When I've grown them I pinch the top out once while they're small then leave them to get on with life.
That way they produce a nice rounded plant.
You could carry on pinching out growing tips, but your plant will soon be getting ready to flower and you don't want to pinch the flowers off.
If you keep topping them you'll delay flowering too, but you can do it if you wish.
If you want some more cuttings just take a few off.
