Crown of Thorns (Euphorbia millii)

What is the best way of propagating Crown of Thorns? I have a very nice yellow flowering form.
Everyone likes butterflies. Nobody likes caterpillars.

    Cut a piece off, leave it a day or so for the cut end to develop a callus (dried over) then put it in a loose mix of compost and vermiculite.

    or put the cut piece into water and wait for it to produce roots.
