Plant or weed?

I have had some top soil delivered this year and it’s turned out to be full of weed seeds, plastic, glass etc and a vine like thing has grown that I didn’t plant. Can you identify it? I’m hoping it’s not knotweed

    Possibly Russian Vine Fallopia baldschuanica.
A pretty but very invasive climber. Not known as Mile a Minute Vine for nothing.

    That passes for topsoil? 😲
  • There is some vine stuff that comes out the grass that I keep pulling out but it never gets long enough to flower. This one is in a raised bed full of the new soil (landfill scrapings). I’m hoping a bit of manure and compost over winter might make it a bit better.

I think it looks like buckwheat, a pretty common birdseed and cover crop ingredient.
