Ants in roses

Hello, please help. I have ants climbing off the root of this role. I have watered a lot this morning but they are back. Has applied roses clear and also a feeder just now. How to get ride of them. Attached some pictures

They are probably farming aphids on the rose but they won't do you or the plant any harm. Use a brisk water spray - no chemicals - to shift the aphids and make sure the ground round the rose is well watered regularly.

Oh, I'd  get rid of those slates, too. Perfect cover for an ant nest.

As posy says, ants love nesting in dry root systems. Give the rose plenty of water and keep it watered. They'll soon clear off elsewhere
  • Thank you, I will give it a go
