One of my container dahlias was doing really badly. What was growing was getting chewed.
I tipped out the dahlia and spotted half a dozen slugs lurking half way down the inside of the pot😡
In London. Keen but lazy.

Time for nighttime patrols….. they need to move 🏠

Even after the dahlia plants reach more than 3 feet in height, they are still not free from slug attack
