Being obsessively tidy sometimes invites sarcastic comments, often from people who are possibly a little lazy.  Over time we all acquire so many garden centre pots and trays that stacking carefully means freeing up so much valuable space, anyone agree?

    I agree - in theory.
    I'm a butterfly. I get distracted. I  put something down and forget where I left it.
    If things are tidied away,I can never find them but if they're hiding in plain sight, I can find them eventually.
    I find that picture slightly disturbing. But that's just lazy, messy me.

    Totally...I've had a little poking of the fun aimed at the tidiness of my greenhouse before, especially about the curtains.

    If I spent a day tidying my shed it might look like that. For about 5 minutes until I wanted something from the bottom of one of the stacks.

    I did sort out all my pots the year before last, but not last year. I will do it this year at the end of the growing season. A gift to my future self, as I always think when winding Christmas tree lights onto a card. But re neatness in general I am at the extreme end of untidy. I blame entropy... (Physics is to blame for most things.)

    I'm with you @Oldcompost, I find that incredibly satisfying! 😁. One day, when my shed is finished, and I can finally move into it, my shelves will be so tidy I won't want to touch them.

    I do enjoy sorting out my shed, and it does help me do a mental inventory of what’s in there. I usually can get rid about a third of the content each time, which is the best bit. 

    I don’t connect disorganisation with laziness. I’m not sure there is much point in keeping it swept, though I have been thinking about it for ten years. It’s enrichment for the widows. 

    Shep’s greenhouse was just purely impressive and the curtains are things of beauty. No sarci -ness from me.

    Love it. I wish I could be that tidy. I appreciate tidiness and anything that cuts down thinking/searching time. I love having everything at my finger tips. 
    Hopefully one day I will have enough time and patience to be as organised!
