What is this interloper in my sweet pepper pot?

Hi
I wonder if anyone knows what this plant is that I've only just seen growing behind my sweet pepper plant?  It's stems almost seem to be mimicking the main plant to fool me, but the leaf is different.

    can't really see the plant, but the leaf has the look of fat hen about it.
    The ones growing in my garden have darker leaves though

    Thank you for your response, I think you may be right as I have looked this up and it seems to match, here is a full photo from above.

    That's one of the nicest specimens of fat hen I've seen :)

    L9vingly watered and fed without me even knowing it was there until today when in the greenhouse.  I've heard you can eat it, so it may have all been worthwhile growing itself (probably came along in the compost).  I will just have to see if it is eaten like lettuce or cooked like chard. Thanks Pete8.

    I get willowherb coming up through my penstemons - the leaves are almost identical - crafty buggers!

    I've just read with Willowherb, that the mature stems, up to when the flower buds start to open, can be split down the middle and their sweet, cucumbery pith scraped out and eaten as is, or used to enrich soups, stews and smoothies.  Just a thought : - )  made me hungry reading that.

    The stems are only about 2mm though, so it'd be a lot of work to get anything worthwhile out of them.
