problem with acer as per photos.

    Keep it in the shade, and out of wind.  :)
    Weather damage[  ie sun and wind]  is the most common problem for foliage. 

    The soil level doesn't look great in that pot, so you may need to re pot it to make sure it has adequate soil to sustain it well. 
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....



    I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
