Astrantia in pots

Does anyone successfully grow Astrantias in pots?
I'm struggling to find anywhere safe from the rabbits. Thanks.

    If you can keep them sufficiently moist they should be fine in a decent sized pot.

    I really like them and they been left undisturbed for two years but this year the rabbits have had a real gorge on them.
