Could anyone tell me what sort of Iris this is.  They're still flowering well at the moment, but I'm assuming that the leaves will eventually die back and then I can cut them down.  Any help appreciated.

They could be Iris Ensata, the Japanese Water Iris, because they have rather flat tops. Are they growing in moist soil?

Thank you for replying, Busy-Lizzie.  They certainly look like the Iris Ensata you mention, but they're not growing in moist soil at all.  I have three clumps - one growing in a shadier area of the garden, which I never water.  One growing in full sun in rather dry soil although I water these occasionally.  Another clump are growing in a half filled pot, which I haven't got round to planting out in the soil yet.  All have flowered/are flowering although the ones in the pot aren't doing so well (for obvious reasons).  I'll have a look at the suggestion you've given on the internet to see if there are any similar irises that might be related to it.  Thanks again for taking the time to reply.
