Any ideas what shrub/hedge this is?

Evening, 
we have this growing amongst a large old laurel hedge and wondered if anyone knows what it may be.

    Could it be privet?
    I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

    Looks like privet flowers to me too. Wonderful perfume. Reminds me of holidays in Brittany. Great for pollinators.
