Mushrooms taking over my garlic bed

I've been growing garlic since October and in one of the beds lots of large white mushrooms have sprung up, I've been removing them but they keep coming back.

I've pulled up all my garlic now anyway as it's ready, I'm just worried about whether they will be safe to eat after growing in a bed of potentially poisonous fungi. Does anyone know?

Fungi grow on rotting organic matter. They won't affect the garlic. The garlic will be fine to eat.
  • Thanks for your reply, I thought I would check since I plan to give some garlic to family and friends.  I've only been gardening since lockdown so still learning a lot but this forum is a great resource.
