Asking for a friend.

Does anyone know what this weed is? It’s nearly a meter tall.

Any ideas welcome 😀

    I don't know what it is, but I do get it in my garden too. I consider it a weed.
    The flowers open as tiny-daisy like flowers that that turn into fluffy seed heads.
    I pull it before it flowers.

    Erigeron canadensis, Horseweed. Pull it up quick or it will be everywhere.
