Verbena rigida

Hi,

 I’m currently in a garden centre looking at verbena rigida and the label says hardy to -10 but some websites say only frost hardy. 

Would anyone know how hardy it is (is it like bonarensis?)?

    I've had it in my garden for 10 years or more.
    So it's been through the Beast from the East etc.
    I've not planted it in the best location, but it still comes up each year and gently spreads around the area where I've planted it (under a group of roses, so not ideal!).
    The colour of the flowers really pop out, especially in the evening.
    I have loads of bonariensis too which spreads readily by self seeding. I've not noticed the same with rigida.

    @Pete.8 Some of them don't flower as well as others. I grow V Hastata never had any seed.
    @Wildlifelover If you do make a purchase used the plunge pot idea as mentioned in your other thread today.
    I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

    @Wildlifelover That's great, your photo will be seen by newbie gardener's who will hopefully do the same. Perhaps the GC's and Nurseries could suggest this to their customers they may not get as many complaints.
