Rhubarb with red spots inside stalk

Hello everyone just harvested a bit of rhubarb for a crumble, sliced it up and and found a few little red spots inside it, is this normal and ok to eat? It was only on about 6 chunks so I've left them out incase but just to be on the safe side for next time I thought I'd ask the experts on here hehe!

    Custard, cream or ice cream?

Or the real luxury …. evaporated milk? 😋

  • Haha well the kids invented a new option this evening, a dollop of whipped cream WITH poured cream over the top!?!

🤣 That’s nearly as good/bad as a Cornish Hedgehog … do you know them?

A cone of clotted cream vanilla icecream, covered in clotted cream and dipped in toasted nuts .., heaven 🍦

Only available from Chapel Porth beach café 😎
