Monarda - a question of height

I have just bought 2 small pots of Monarda Didyma Balmy Lilac from the local garden centre. The label says that they grow to 36" ... a quick google search (Darwin Perennials) says 10-12". That's a big difference! Please could anyone confirm the height?

Perhaps one measurement is inches and the other centimetres? Mine grow to about a foot -18inches

depends on the soil as well, I've seen them 3 foot tall but not in my dry garden. They do so badly I've stopped growing them

    In the sticks near Peterborough
  • The website says ...

Dwarf variety is deer and rabbit resistant, as well as mildew resistant.
