Auricula Theatre

Just had a go at making an auricula theatre…

Still need a few more auriculas to finish it off, if anyone has any good recommendations for varieties?

    It looks a little tight on headroom so maybe stick to varieties with shorter flower spikes.
    If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

    Joyce and light hearted look lovely, I have Cheops which looks similar.

    I umm’d and arr’d about the headroom and looked at a few pics on the internet and in the end I decided I liked the look where the plants seemed to completely fill the space…if I did it again I’d probably drill I few holes and put the shelves on shelf supports so I could adjust the heights.

    thanks for the kind words on the theatre it’s mostly just left over gravel board, ply wood and paint with a few wooden flourishes from eBay stuck on.
