Bougainvillea on trellis

edited June 2022 in Plants
Hello,

I just attached my new bougainvillea to a trellis by tieing some of the stems down.

Does it look like I did it correctly, should I spread it out more?

Thanks!
Amanda

They're lovely plants, but not one I've ever had.
I think you can spread the tops out more as it grows.

What will you do with it when it starts to get chilly though?
Ideally they like night temperatures in the upper teens and it won't survive for long when it gets down to about 10C

Hopefully someone who does grow them will see your post and offer some advice.
    Good luck!
