Eucalyptus are happy in full sun, and will drop leaves at most times of the year. How old is it? If it's recently planted it will need water, but long planted specimens can tolerate drought.

It's going to need a lot of watering in that pot.

Yours looks good compared to mine .As has been said full sun and plenty of water in the evenings .I understand they are quite slow growing to start with, yours looks to be off to a good beginning.

Hard to tell from the angle but the pot looks very small.

The new foliage is a different colour from the old, and darkens as it matures. That's normal. Is that what you mean?

It won't be happy much longer in that wee pot,  for the reasons given. They want to be rather large plants.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

They do indeed get to be large plants.
I had one the same size as yours that I planted in the garden.
