Moth ID please

Just found this on one of my houseplants and wanted to know if my plant is soon to be munched by lots of caterpillars?

    Youve got yourself a Bordered Straw and your houseplant should be safe: Common Restharrow (Ononis repens), Ploughman’s-spikenard (Inula conyzae), Scentless Mayweed (Tripleurospermum inodorum), Sticky Groundsel (Senecio viscosus) and marigolds according to google

    Lazy little bu**er just laying there snoozing all day!
    Must be a teenager :)

    I've just encouraged it into the garden where it's made itself comfortable on an ornamental grass.
    I noticed there's a sticky 'dew' on the back of the leaves of that plant - I wonder if it is some sort of nectar it was attracted to.
