I don't think its Dierama either, as Busy-Lizzie says, leaves don't look right. Mine's just about to flower with papery silvery flower buds all down the stalks. The clump is now about 2ft in diameter and probably 3ft tall (it's on a high raised bank so difficult to measure!).
I wasn't sure at all, hence my original comment. The flowers looked very similar to my neighbour's ones on their plant, but that definitely is a Dierama (she showed me the label when l first admired it !).
