Snake eggs?

Went to collect some manure today and whilst digging down to the bottom I came across these which I think are snake eggs?

Quite soft and rubbery to the touch. I put them back into the bottom of the heap and covered them back up..

I've never seen snake eggs before. I put them back in a part of the heap that hopefully won't be disturbed.

I've been lucky enough to have Grass snakes but never any eggs.  Well done @LeadFarmer ( or, I suppose , well done your snakes ).
Be very interested in any updates if and when.  Quite made my day so thank you :):)

Sadly they aren't on my land, but at a friends house who live on a country lane. They say they get stale eggs in the heap most years and then put a sign up telling people not to dig in that area. A first for me, but something they are used to seeing.
